NZR 1.0 & NZR-SC News Release

 

Massachusetts - SoftServ International Corp. of Natick MA announces the availability of NZR 1.0 Visualization Framework. NZR runs on Windows OS and provides the ability to visualize a wide variety of data types ranging from 1D, 2D , 3D , points, text and polylines,  NZR has a plug-in based architecture and comes bundled with a JPEG plug-in.  This plug-in allows for jpeg files to be inserted into a 3D space.

 

NZR-SC Plug-in adds visualization server capabilities to NZR. NZR-SC comes with a client library for Intel ^tm based machines. When used in any C++ program it enables rendering of a variety of data types into the NZR’s 3D window. A minimalist API consists of only four functions for each of the six data types, namely newObject, createObject, writeObject and moveObject.. Five helper functions assist in setting the viewpoint, rendering and deleting objects. Software developers can now visualize data in real time and do away with the time consuming printfs and file dumps. The simple API does not diminish the sophistication of data visualization. Even a simple point can be rendered with additional attributes of color, opacity, glyphs of different shapes and vector data associated with it. Tutorials projects in VS 2003 ^tm. assist the developer in getting acquainted with the API.
