Medical

To assess the needs and provide Medical Equipment to the hospitals in the effected areas. 

This is being done in collaboration with IMEC (International Medical Equipment Collaborative) www.imecamerica.org.

  This is a not for profit organization that collects unused and used medical equipment from all over the USA and stores them in a large warehouse in Andover MA. Through collaboration with developing countries, it transfers such equipment to local hospitals and clinics. This is done through shepherding organizations in USA (such as APPNE) that has  links with NGO's or Governmental organizations.

 IMEC's major projects have so far been in Africa and South America. Due to almost complete destruction of health care system in some of the earthquake effected areas in Pakistan we thought it would provide some relief to local hospitals if could replace some of the damaged equipment. Our initial focus is in Hazara district. Hopefully it will later on expand it to the Kashmir valley.
